Creating Standalone FAST Schema

A FAST schema can be created without associating to a FIX schema. In QWFIX we call it standalone FAST schema.

A FAST schema can be applied to a wider range of protocols.

Creating a New Standalone FAST Schema

In "Repository Explorer" panel, right click mouse on the node "FASTSChema", the select "New Schema" from the pop up menu.

A new schema dialog will pop up. In the dialog, only apecify the name of the schema. Do not choose any FIX schema. Then create OK button. A standalone FAST schema will be created.

Adding Templates and Instructions

The FAST schema editor gives more flexibility to standalone schemas. User can freely edit any valid property of the templates and instructions.
