QWFIX Enterprise Manager allows user to import FAST schema from and export FAST schema to an XML file.
The import and export feature allows the interoperability with other FAST systems.
In "Repository Explorer" panel, right click on node "FastSchema", then choose "Import Schema" from pop up menu.
An "FAST Schema Import Wizard" dialog will pop up. First user is required to select a file from file system, by clicking the "Browse" button.
After the file is selected, click "Next" button, user is given a chance to associate a FIX schema and a FIX transport schema (for customized header fields) with the FAST schema.
Click "Next" button, the schema will be imported and added to the FAST schema list.
If anything goes wrong during the process, an error dialog will pop up with the error message.
In "Repository Explorer", highlight a FAST schema node in the FAST schema list tree, right click mouse, then choose "Export Schema" from the pop up menu.
A file dialog will pop up asking for the name and location of the exported file. Click "OK" button the file specified will be created and the schema will be exported to the file in XML format.
